GOOD SIDE OF TOMORROW

Dave Loggins, Glenn Campbell

We all do our living

Seek a reason for our being

From early youth we search for truth

To justify our lifes

And we're living TV each night

That we won't see the morning sunrise

So we become most Sunday's people

Who crowd beneath that steeple

Searching our hearts for answers

That we doubt somehow we'll find

That a simple prayer can rest your weary soul

And ease your troubled mind

(Just) Simply by saying

"Lord, forgive me

Help to make me strong

I've a will to live

But it's almost done.

I don't want for nothing

That I've lost along the way

I just wanna trade my sorrows

For the good side of tomorrow

Today"

Were all wrapped with the aging

Our lies being quickly fading

Rushing to a destiny

We can long ago foresee

And if you thus must desire

"Is it all that is in life?

Well can I find a place in eternity?"
